Caroline has been awarded a #CreativeConnections grant by Severn Arts for a collaborative project with fellow artists Cherrie Mansfield and Susan Birth
Their project, Freezing point: colour unleashed, brings together the poem from Jeremy Harwood and the visual arts.
"At freezing point the night hands over to the day
And the sun peers through a haze
Hunting the stars scattered in the frosted grass"
Caroline ,Cherrie and Susan met through their participation in Worcestershire Open Studios.Their work is united by acrylics and colour and before the coronvirus outbreak , the artists were preparing for a joint exhibition at Elmslie House in Malvern.
Whilst the exhibition has been postponed, they are still pursing their plans to create a painting each from Jeremy's poem Freezing Point.
The project will culminate in a video presentation showing the completed painting from each artist.
The poem has a particular poignancy at the moment as we are caught in a moment of time , a 'stop motion world'. The poem ends with encouragement as an'adventure seeker' and to 'wander free if you want your world to be refreshed.'
You can follow the progress of the project on the Freezing Point;colour unleasedFacebook page or by following Caroline on Facebook (Caroline Hall art prints and paintings) or Instragram(caroline_hall_art
